CAEMAG operates a dedicated industrial facility in Uzbekistan, providing assembly, repair, diagnostics and lifecycle support for industrial gearboxes, motor-reducers and electric motors.

As part of CAIM Group, we combine local execution capabilities with the engineering resources and infrastructure required to support major industrial enterprises across Central Asia.

Core Facility

Ahmad Yassaviy Industrial Site

Our primary technical base is located at the Ahmad Yassaviy industrial site within CAIM Group infrastructure. This is where we perform all core operations:

Assembly of industrial gearboxes — planetary, helical and bevel configurations
Assembly of motor-reducers and integrated drive units
Integration of electric motors with gear systems
Repair and refurbishment of gearboxes and electric motors
Technical inspection, diagnostics and root-cause analysis
Adaptation of imported components to local operating conditions

Machine Park

The facility is equipped with a professional machine park including CNC and conventional machining equipment from EMCO, Nakamura, Weiler, Mazak, Gleason and other manufacturers.

This allows us to perform precision machining, shaft work, gear element restoration and custom component fabrication in-house.
16 technical specialists work at the site, including engineers with hands-on experience in drive systems, repair and assembly.

Authorized NORD Drivesystems Service Center

Since 2026, CAEMAG operates as an authorized service partner for NORD Drivesystems

NORD Drivesystems — one of the world's leading manufacturers of geared motors and drive systems.

This authorization means our team is trained and certified to work with NORD equipment according to OEM standards.

We have access to technical documentation, original spare parts and manufacturer support. To date, we have serviced 12 NORD geared motors and motor-reducers at our facility, with more units currently in service cycle.

Traction Motor Refurbishment for Heavy Mining Equipment

Beyond standard industrial drive systems, CAEMAG has developed expertise in the refurbishment of traction electric motors used in heavy mining machinery — a specialized and technically demanding field requiring advanced electrical and mechanical restoration capabilities

In 2026, working alongside specialists from NORD Drivesystems and TES Vsetín (Czech Republic), we successfully refurbished four traction motors (ЭК-590 and ГСТ-1) used in BELAZ-class mining dump trucks and similar heavy-duty equipment operating in Uzbekistan's mining sector.

Problem

Gearbox overheating under full production load
High vibration levels leading to unplanned shutdowns
Frequent emergency shutdowns—3–4 times a month
Accelerated bearing wear due to misalignment not corrected during initial installation

Engineering Diagnosis

Load analysis revealed that the initial gear ratio was incorrectly selected given the mill's actual torque. Furthermore, the shaft misalignment was 0.4 mm—exceeding the permissible limit for this class of equipment.

Approach

Working with TES Vsetín engineers, we performed full disassembly, component-level inspection and documented a restoration plan. The process included electrical winding restoration, bearing replacement, commutator refurbishment, mechanical part fabrication and system reassembly with alignment verification.
Result

All 4 motors were successfully restored to operational condition. The refurbishment approach reduced cost compared to replacement and eliminated the lead time associated with importing new units — a critical factor for clients where equipment downtime has direct production impact.

Strategic Development

Angren Industrial Park

CAEMAG and CAIM Group have acquired land in the Angren Free Economic Zone (FEZ). The company is now a registered member of the FEZ and is actively working on project documentation for a large-scale industrial production facility.

The Angren project is focused on deep localization of industrial equipment production in Uzbekistan, including medium and large industrial reducers, electric motors and industrial pumps. This is a long-term strategic commitment — moving from assembly operations today toward full-scale manufacturing capability in Central Asia.
